My name is Nicole Howie and I have recently been employed by the NCCMA to assist with supporting North Central River Detectives schools.
To introduce/refresh the program for 2019, PD sessions will be held in the coming weeks. We invite participating schools’ key staff members/volunteers involved in delivering the River Detectives program in your school to attend the session most convenient for you:
Monday 25th March OR Tuesday 26th March
4:30 – 6:30pm 4:30 – 6:30pm

At this session you will;
S learn about the River Detectives program – what it entails and how it can work in your school
S meet and learn from staff in other River Detectives schools near you
S receive / refresh your water quality testing kit
S get involved in practical water quality testing
S become more familiar with the River Detectives website and the resources on offer
S enjoy some light refreshments
Please bring along;
S your water quality kit if you already have one
S a laptop and your River Detectives login details if you have them
S your River Detectives school plan (see attached) – fill out what you can – there will time to discuss/complete this at the session.
If you do not have website login details it may be that you haven’t yet chosen your preferred water testing site. Please forward this info asap (waterway and nearest crossroad/landmark) so that I can generate a site code for you and then your login details.
RSVP for PD sessions: Wednesday 20th March Please let me know which session you plan to attend and if you have any dietary requirements. If you are unable to make either session please get in touch and we will try and work out alternative arrangements.
