We understand that many areas are still being impacted by fire and even without natural disasters, the start of the school year is a very busy time.
If it’s easier, please flick a quick email through to your regional River Detectives coordinator just to let them know where you are at and we can collect all the finer details later.
A final thought that sprang to mind last week:
It’s been a trying summer with Mother Nature challenging us in various ways. Sometimes the best way to cope is by understanding her better and highlighting her incredible assets to balance perceptions of threat.
The River Detectives program not only builds skills, knowledge and appreciation of our natural environment but fosters student’s hope, resilience and agency to cope in difficult times.
