We have compiled a list of the environmental/cultural celebrations during 2025 that are most relevant to the River Detectives program. All offer opportunities to seamlessly weave your River Detectives learning into broader events by adding a waterway lens.
This not only provides a way to ‘kill two birds with the one stone’ but
- adds meaning and depth to those events by tying them back to something practical/local students can relate to
- scaffolds River Detectives learning and strengthens the knowledge that waterway/catchment health is related to everything we do
