Justine Holmes, Statewide WaterWatch Coordinator, is offering free webinars to understand what citizen science data means by looking at the WaterWatch portal.
As you might know, all data entered into the River Detectives portal is transferred to the WaterWatch portal alongside the data from WaterWatch volunteers across the state where it is publicly accessible.
If you are interested in knowing more about the following, sign up. Even if you can’t make it (being during school hours), by signing up you’ll get access to the recording afterwards.

- How the data shows trends and what these trends could mean
- Site ratings: what does good, moderate, poor or very poor mean for each parameter
- How were these categories derived
- Questions about your site or the new portal
