As we zoom towards the end of Term 2 and find ourselves at the midpoint of 2026 (how did that happen?) we’d really appreciate an upload of any water quality data (or waterbug data / habitat survey results) you may have collected with your students this year so far.
If you can manage that yourself – great – but knowing how busy you are, from now until June 30 we are happy to help. Just email through your data to riverdetectives@nccma.vic.gov.au and we’ll upload it for you.
The program is so much more than the data – we value process over product, conversations over outcomes, engagement and attitude/skill/behaviour change over results and the ripple effect throughout your communities – however, for the powers that be, activity in our data portal is important.
We’d love any help you can provide to ensure the hard work you may have done to sample your waterway is counted at mid-year.
