Yaram Yaram Bayikina (Bendigo Creek Reawakening) is an exciting two-year project between March 2026-March 2028 with a vision to ‘change people’s hearts and minds to take united action, so that in a generation’s time Bendigo Creek will be a healthy, connected and nurturing place.’

Fifteen River Detectives schools in the Bendigo Creek catchment are playing a vital role to monitor the health of Bendigo Creek and its tributaries, take part in an innovative stormwater pit stencilling program to raise community awareness of stormwater issues and playing an active role in on-ground rehabilitation.
